About Me
While I have worked in multiple settings and most recently at the University of Southern California, I have always maintained a private practice, and feel privileged and honored to have the opportunity to do this work. I have practiced in several states throughout the United States, and multiple countries throughout Asia and Latin America. This rich and diverse experience has provided me with the ability to address a wide range of cross-cultural and Global Nomad issues, along with the emotional difficulties that transcend geographic borders and affect all of us as human beings. I also speak Spanish, and can work with you in person or on-line.
I work with adults, young to mature, as well as couples and adolescents. I deal with problems related to depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, life transitions, abuse and grief/loss. I would be honored to accompany you on your journey towards health, growth and peace.
My Approach
My therapeutic approach is Psychodynamic and Humanistic. I also incorporate Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, I am certified in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy or ISTDP. This is a research-based accelerated approach that is quite precise, cutting directly to the origin of pain and suffering. It involves a body of techniques that allows for desired character changes within a short-term format. My relationship with the patient is collaborative, direct and at the same time compassionate, supportive and empowering.

I have a hybrid practice, in that I see patients in person and remotely on a secure platform.

Fee is $175 per session, or sliding scale.
